October 2011

  1. Excellent read

    October 1, 2011 11:09 pm

Nine Planets Without Intelligent Life is (or should it be "was" because it has ended?) a beautiful comic. One of the finest I have ever read. I love the use of infinite canvas. The scrolling was a pleasure. But I hope your next project would be printing-friendly and in stores, so I could buy a copy and carry it around. NPWIL should stay on the web though, as scrolling was part of the experience and in a book it won't fit well. Unless... you could do it with unfolding pages?

  2. Fantastic

Caught up with this when they were back on Jupiter's moons, I think, and just checked back to finish today. One of the best completed webcomics there is. Seriously look into publishing this, and I look forward to whatever creative enterprise comes next.

  4. Thanks

Nine Planets has been a very special read. I wish there was more of it, and I wish it wasn't so sad, though I guess both those things are key to making the comic what it is. I'll just wish you both well, and thank you for making the comic. I'll never forget it.

  5. Thanks Guys. Thighs

Great stuff. Loved it, especially the war part and the economics part. The ending left me with a big hole in my heart. Please fill it with something soon. Peace

  6. Thanks. Really.

It's been a long time coming, but this story was well worth the wait. It truly is a work of art and I'll buy your book the second you offer it.

Thanks for all laughs, touching moments, and panels that made me appreciate the beauty in the real world.

Here's wishing you the best of luck in your own journey to the stars. Keep on striving for Pluto!

  7. This is the end

    October 23, 2011 4:10 am

I've been following you both since the beginning of this webcomic and I got to say it has always been amazing and I kept coming back to it to see the sometimes somewhat slow updates. But the story and the art are just great.

Amazing. Following since reading about it on io9. I thought it was indefinetly going to run so seeing it end is very weird. I hope to direct the movie.
