You know, I was at Tower Records a few months ago and the other Adam Reed was there signing Sealab DVDs or something, and all these people were coming up to him like, "Are you the Adam Reed of Nine Planets Without Intelligent Life obscurity?" and he was all, "I wish! I'd gladly give up my steady paycheck if it meant the fruits of my creative labor were my own and not fed into the maw of the unholy beast AOL Time Warner!"

In addition to being a lie, the above is a joke. I've got nothing but respect for the Adam Reed of Sealab 2021, and Time Warner puts out all kinds of stuff that I like, so they're okay by me. I'm also pretty confident they're not embedding subliminal brainwashing signals in their programming under orders from the Illuminati. If I found out they were doing that, I would so totally boycott Smallville.
